All courses are taught in a salon environment at the training academy.
No previous beauty therapy experience required, however some courses do require pre-requisite training. Please check individual course information for full details.
A half day course is approximately 4-5hrs of learning. This time does not include break times.
A full day course is approximately 6-7hrs of learning. This time does not include break times.
There are no set days or times for my courses. As they are taught on a one to one basis I try my very best to accommodate and work around each individual’s personal circumstances.
There is plenty of free parking at the academy. Full details will be sent with your booking confirmation.
On some occasions you may be required to bring a model with you, however, should this be the case you will be informed of this when you book your course.
As learning takes place in a salon environment, students should wear black clothing or salon wear. This includes flat, closed footwear. Longer hair should be tied back. PPE will be provided.
To secure your place a 25% deposit is to be paid to secure your course dates. The remaining balance is due 12 days before the start of your course.
Yes, the day will run to an agenda and will have allocated slots for breaks. If at any point a comfort break is required then please just ask.
A selection of refreshments will be provided throughout the day, however, please bring your own lunch. The academy is well located and is only a few minutes drive from numerous drive thrus/eating establishments, including; Costa, Tesco, Dunkin Donuts, Burger King, McDonald’s and Greggs.
The assessments are theory and practical based and will be completed whilst at the academy. You will be sent pre-course information via email to prepare you for the day. Support and guidance will be given throughout your learning, covering all training units and assessment requirements. On successful completion of the course you will achieve the Beauty Academy diploma which is PBD accredited and recognised.
Yes, 100%. They are all accredited by Professional Beauty Direct. A name in the industry that you can really trust.
Students must meet the standards required before certificates can be issued. You will receive your certificate upon successful completion of the course. This can be sent via email or if preferred a hard copy can be provided.
Accreditation is necessary to any person or institution in education that needs to prove that they meet a general standard of quality. All training courses need to be accredited to be accepted for insurance purposes.
